Selection
:  Recipient is to be determined by the Grounds Committee, headed by the Vice President
Eligibility:  Any member in good standing for one year or more, as well as honorary members
Qualifications:  The recipient must display devotion to and understanding of, the game of tennis.  Also she must display conduct becoming to a sportsman, involving honest rivalry, courteous relations and graceful acceptance of results, i.e., a good loser and a graceful winner.
Award:  A perpetual trophy provided by the founder to be presented at the Spring Banquet each year by the Vice President
Obligation of the Founder:
  (a) Provide a perpetual trophy  (b) Provide engraving of recipient's name each year
Obligation of the Club:  (a) Award must be maintained in good condition by the Club and/or recipient
 (b) Award shall be engraved and/or altered, as designated by the founder.  (c) Award will be maintained and continued by the Club upon the death of the founder.  (d) The qualifications and/or award may not be altered without approval of the founder or her designee.  If the award is discontinued by the club, or the Club ceases to exist, the award will be returned to the founder or her family.
